David P. Caudill

David P. Caudill, age 66, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Charleston Health Care Center in Danville.  Born Tuesday, May 2, 1950 in Waynesburg, he was the son of the late Buddie & Jewell Payne Caudill.  He was the widower of the late Judy Caudill, who preceded him in death on November 14, 2005.  David worked as a Mail Carrier, for 36 years, and recently retired from that position.  He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and loved to hunt.

David leaves behind one son, Marty Sparks of Waynesburg; two daughters, Elisabeth Caudill and Cheyenne Caudill both of Waynesburg; one brother, Dodd Caudill (Jeanette) of Radcliff; two sisters, Ruth Young (Marvin) and Gay Nell Slone (Leo) both of Somerset; his beloved dog and best friend, Kaylee; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Baxter Caudill, Clyde Caudill, and Claude Caudill.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Double Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Martin officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.  Oral Bryant, Rocky Singleton, Jason Slone, Chris Slone, Buddie Slone, and Sammy Gilpin will serve as Active Pallbearers.

Visitations will be held 6-9PM Monday, February 13, 2017, and after 11AM Tuesday, at the church.
