Jason Wayne Sparkmon, age 35, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born Sunday, April 19, 1981 in Cincinnati, he was the son of Glyn Sparkmon and the late Gail Sparkmon. Jason enjoyed collecting comic books, loved animals, and was into trading toys.
Jason leaves behind his father Glyn Sparkmon of Waynesburg; one brother, Brian Sparkmon of Waynesburg; and an honorary niece and nephew, Savanah and Brayden Embry.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Gail Sparkmon.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 23,2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Barnett, Demrow and Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service. Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery. Rodney Foley, John Sparkmon, Josh Sparkmon, Greg Richardson, Lewis Cummins, Royce Cummins, Trey Cummins, Wade Gillis, Will Childers, and Ryan Weatherford will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The Visitation will be held 12 Noon until service time on Saturday, at the Funeral Home.
