My dear friend Evelyn, I just saw in the IJ that your dear Mom passed away. If I had known, I would have been there.
I was not sure I had your email or correct address, so I hope you see this. And please email me if you do. I would love for us to have some contact even if via email.
I was in Broughtontown on Christmas day at my cousin Annie's. She and her hubby Roger have taken wonderful care of the house and store your parents built there. Annie is the artistic one in the family and always decorates so beautifully. I just wanted you to know how your parents former home is loved.

Martha was a good and loving person who will be sadly missed by all that knew. I loved her like a mother because she was so loving and she knew no strangers. My thoughts and prayers will be with all the family during this time of mourning. God Bless all of you.
