Steve Adams

Steve Adams, age 66, of Johnson Road in Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at his residence.  Born Wednesday, January 10, 1951 in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Rev. Carl Jones Adams & Georgia Maxine Fisher Adams.  His loving wife, whom he married April 20, 1973, is Sue Adams of Waynesburg.  Steve was a retired supervisor from the Road Department and was of the Baptist faith.  In his spare time, he enjoyed wood crafting, fishing, and camping.

In addition to his wife, Steve leaves behind one son, Carl Jones Adams of Waynesburg; one daughter, Stacy Dale Mushrush (Keith) of Wauchula, Florida; three brothers, Danny Ray Adams (Carol) and Tommy Adams (Debi) both of Brooksville, Florida, and Jeff Adams (Kathy) of Titusville, Florida; five grandchildren, Chasity Snow, Frankie Smith, Joey Smith, Adam Smith, and Hallei Mushrush; four great-grandchildren, Frankie Smith, Corbyn Smith, Steven Wainwright, and Colton Snow; and a special friend, Cliff Murphy of Kings Mountain, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Kay Adams and Brenda Fay Adams.

A Visitation will be held 5-7PM Monday, May 1, 2017 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will begin at 7PM Monday at the funeral home.  Steve’s uncle, Carlos Lakin, will officiate the service.  Following the service, Cremation Rites will be honored.
