Determining the Size of Die (top piece of granite):
Example: If a die size is 3-6 x 0-6 x 2-0, this is how you read the size measurements:
"3-6" refers to the LENGTH of the die (first number is feet "3"; second number is inches "6")
"0-6" refers to the WIDTH/THICKNESS of the die (first number is feet "0"; second number is inches "6")
"2-0" refers to the HEIGHT of the die (first number is feet "2"; second number is inches "0")
Determining the Size of the Base:
Example: If a base size is 5-0 x 1-0 x 0-6, this is how you read the size measurements:
"5-0" refers to the LENGTH of the base: (first number is feet "3"; second number is inches "0")
"1-0" refers to the WIDTH/THICKNESS of the base (first number is in feet "1"; second number is in inches "0")
"0-6" refers to the HEIGHTH of the base (first number is in feet "0"; second number is inches "6")
