Danny Ray Pharris

Danny Ray Pharris, age 68, of KY Hwy 1247 in Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Wednesday, October 18, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Olive Marie Madden Roland and the late William Nelson Roland.  Danny was a US Army Veteran, and retired after working 30 plus years at Foundry in Cincinnati.  Danny loved old coins, video games, and gardening.

Danny leaves behind 10 siblings, Jimmie Douglas Pharris of Waynesburg, Patricia Gail Kinney of Williamstown, Kentucky, Billy Jean Padgett (Eddie) of Waynesburg, Carolyn Sue Roland of Cincinnati, David Edward Roland of Cincinnati, Hazel Marie Elkins (Vernon) of Pulaski County, Kentucky, Stella Patrick (Steve) of Brown County, Ohio, Gidgett Padgett (Joe) of Waynesburg, Bobby Roland (Eva) of Cincinnati, and Tina Long (Russell) of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by one infant brother, Donnie Roland; one sister, Mary Roland; and one brother-in-law, Robert Kinney.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg with Full Military Honors performed by the Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion.  Robert Kinney, Jr., William Eddie Padgett, Danny Lynn Padgett, Elijah Jay Padgett, Matthew Scott Padgett, Dexter Alexander Padgett, Aaron Nelson Padgett, Bobby Roland, and Shane Patrick will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 12PM-1PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
