Donna Gastineau Carman

Donna Gastineau Carman, age 53, of North KY 837 in Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.  Born Thursday, June 18, 1964 in Liberty, Kentucky, along with her twin Dinah, she was the daughter of the late Junior & Vangie Gooch Gastineau.  Her loving husband, whom she married August 15, 1992, is James C. Carman of Kings Mountain.  Donna was a homemaker and member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.  Donna loved people and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and personality.  Donna also enjoyed gardening and bird-watching.

In addition to her husband, Donna leaves behind one son, Brandon Lee Carman of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Debbie Dalton of Middleburg, Kentucky, Dinah Kendrick (Lee) of Kings Mountain, and Diane Greer (Cleo) of Waynesburg, Kentucky; her second mom and “bestie”, Janet Perry of Bethelridge; two nephews, Ryan Monroe of Middleburg, and Tyler Collins of Kings Mountain; two great-nephews, Braylin Pennington and Grant Collins; two brother-in-laws, Donnie Carman of Science Hill, Kentucky, and Ronnie “Hook” Carman of Kings Mountain; and her K-9 companion, Chico. 

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by one nephew, Dylan Tomas Lopez. 

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Jones officiating the service.  Burial will follow in KP Hall Cemetery.  Brandon Carman, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Collins, Tim Barber, Donnie Carman, and Ronnie “Hook” Carman will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Jenny Emerson, Rachael Gonzalez, Abby Emerson, John Barber, Zack Snow, Marvin Perry, and Bobby & Robin Gooch will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. 

The Visitation will be held 5-9PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the funeral home.
