Elizabeth Carrier

Elizabeth Carrier, age 87, of Green River Road in McKinney, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  Born Saturday, January 24, 1931 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Thelmer & Martha Austin Coffman.  Elizabeth was the widow of the late Rev. Alfred Carrier, who preceded her in death July 15, 1995.  Elizabeth worked as a Nurse for 28 years at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and was a member of Green River Pentecostal Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing.

Elizabeth leaves behind three sons, Michael Lee Carrier (Pam), Joel Wayne Carrier, and Arnold Ray Carrier all of McKinney; four grandchildren, Peggy Grimes, Timmy Carrier, Michael Carrier, and Bethany Carrier; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Winfred Coffman and Orville Kenneth Coffman.

A Visitation will be held 4-6PM Sunday, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Green River Pentecostal Church.  The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00PM Sunday at the church.  Bro. Rick Naylor will officiate the service. 

A Graveside Service and Burial will take place 3:00PM Monday, June 18, 2018 at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. 

Active Pallbearers will be Michael Roy Carrier, Timmy Ray Carrier, Shane Coffman, Jonathan McWhorter, Elroy Griffin, and Ersel Brown.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Peggy Coffman.
