Imogene (Gooch) Correll

Imogene Gooch Correll, age 82, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Saturday, July 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Arnold H. and Dorothy M. Stull Gooch. Imogene was the widow of the late Earnest R. Correll, whom she married February 1, 1958 and preceded her in death March 9, 1999. Imogene attended Highland United Methodist Church and worked 40 years in the school system as a School Cook. She loved to read, work puzzles and cook. Imogene loved all of her “kids” that she served at Kings Mountain for 40 years. She loved her grandsons dearly and her cat, Snowball.

Imogene leaves behind one son, Stephen Ray Correll (Etta Mae) of Stanford; one daughter, Christy Lee Correll McGee (Chris) of Stanford; three grandchildren, Matthew Correll (Amber), Logan Correll and Lance Correll; three great-grandchildren Eli Martin, Tristan Correll and Bella Rose Correll.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, July 19, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Parton officiating the service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Point Cemetery. Matthew Correll, Logan Correll, Lance Correll, Steve Correll and Chris McGee will serve as Active Pallbearers. Tristan Correll and Eli Martin will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Friday at the funeral home.
