Juanita F. Herrington

Juanita F. Herrington, age 61, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Florence Hospital.  Born Wednesday, January 29, 1958 in Stanford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Walter Estle “Tom” Herrington and the late Winona Young Herrington.  Juanita worked, as a server, for Cracker Barrel for many years.  Juanita was a big University of Kentucky Wildcats fan.  In her spare time, she enjoyed playing games on her cell phone. 

Juanita leaves behind three daughters, Angie Murphy and Samantha Zabala both of Dry Ridge, and Gea Yocum (Timmy) of Stanford; eight grandchildren, JT Murphy, Dakota Murphy, Jesse Murphy, Justin Murphy, Haley Zabala, Samuel Zabala, Amber Yocum, and Timothy Yocum; one brother, Danny Herrington of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; one sister, Paula Ann Elam (Keith) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends who mourn her passing. 

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by one grandson, Jonathan Zabala; and one sister, Linda Lou Herrington.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. 

The Visitation will be held 12PM-2PM Thursday at the funeral home.
