Lester Wayne McFalls, age 71, of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away May 18, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Born Friday, November 29, 1946 in Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Amos & Lillian Derry McFalls. Wayne loved to fish and trap shoot. He was known, by many, as being the most humorist of Kings Mountain. He loved people and loved to talk to everyone he met. Wayne worked 18 years at National Casket Factory and 17 years at Tecumseh. He was a key informant for the lottery for his family and friends. Wayne attended Kings Mountain Community Church.
Wayne leaves behind two brothers, Jerry McFalls (Lynn) of Waynesburg, Kentucky and Robert McFalls (Terry) of Tampa, Florida; special niece, Lisa Fletcher; nieces and nephews, Janet Clayborn, Joyce Cox, Darrell Jones, Travis McFalls, Tiffany Smith, Joshua Ingram, Dustin Ingram, Branstin Ingram, Caden McFalls, Aubrey Ingram, Haley Ingram, Kenzie McFalls, Riley Smith, Kylie McFalls, and Gabriella Ingram; and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane McFalls Hibbard, and Mary Ruth McFalls Jones.
Cremation Rites have been honored. Private Burial will take place Friday, June 8, 2018 in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 10AM-12PM at Pleasant Point Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Rev. Robert McFalls & Bro. David Gambrel will officiate the service.
