Linda C. Bastin Sears

Linda C. Bastin Sears, age 67, of Hustonville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 in Danville, Kentucky. Born Sunday, May 25, 1952 in Stanford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William and Essie Hatchel Bastin. Her loving husband, whom she married April 16th, 1971, is Wayne Sears. Linda worked at Osh Gosh and attended New Salem Baptist Church. She loved her children, grandchildren and Elvis. Linda enjoyed sewing, talking on the phone and to fish.

In addition to her husband, Linda leaves behind two daughters, Hope Ferguson (Joseph) and Nicki Sears, both of Hustonville; three grandchildren, Jesse Manning (Tracy), Christian Bastin and David Smith; one great grandchild, Aleah Manning; and one brother, David Bastin (Judy) of Danville.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one sister, Dixie Smith.

Cremation Rites have been honored. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, December 1, 2019 at New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery after the service.

The Visitation will be held 1-3PM Sunday at the church.
