Linda Lou Herrington

Linda Lou Herrington, age 68, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin.  Born Thursday, February 9, 1950 in Lancaster, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Walter Estle “Tom” Herrington and the late Winona Young Herrington.  Linda drove for a public transit company for many years.  Linda loved to read and enjoyed making crafts, in her spare time.

Linda leaves behind two sisters, Paula Ann Elam (Keith) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Juanita Herrington of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; one brother, Danny Herrington (Margie) of Crab Orchard, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, and a “special son”, Jay Gunkler of Louisville, Kentucky.

Cremation Rites have been honored.  A Public Graveside Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, September 28, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Bro. Kerry Jones will officiate the service.
