Phil Phillips

Phil Phillips, age 64, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Stanford, KY, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.  Born Wednesday, December 16, 1953 in Stanford, he was the son of the late Joe Mack & Mattie Pearl Hale Phillips.  Phil previously owned The Wall Body Shop in Stanford. 

Phil leaves behind one daughter, Desma Phillips of Danville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allen Phillips of Alexandria, KY, and Elberta Phillips of Crab Orchard, KY; two sisters, Bessie Murphy of Harrodsburg, KY, and Janie Morgan of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Wheeler “OO”, Dellie, Robert, Mack Edward, and Odell Phillips; and three sisters, Ruth Toombs, Juanita Noland, and Lily Jesse.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Phil’s nephews will serve as Active Pallbearers.  

The Visitation will be held 9AM-11AM Saturday at the funeral home.
