Roger D. Singleton

Roger D. Singleton, age 69, of Troy Singleton Road in Kings Mountain, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Christian Care Center (Landmark of Lancaster).  Born Saturday, April 24, 1948 in Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Troy & Tonnie Anderson Singleton.  Roger was a farmer and member of Pond Baptist Church.  In his spare time, he loved to fish and hunt.

Roger leaves behind one brother, Rocky Singleton (Sandy) of Waynesburg; one sister, Janet Naegele (Herbie) of Hardinsburg; three nieces, Anita Naegele of Hardinsburg, Angelique Smith (TJ) of Johnsonville, South Carolina, and Audranna Singleton of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one nephew, Robert Naegele (Carolyn) of Owensboro; two step-nephews, Ryan Woodall (Amanda) of Bryantsville, and Andrew Woodall (Rebecca) of Stanford; and several great-nieces, great-nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Martin officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery.  Bill Van Hook, Ryan Woodall, Andrew Woodall, David Garrison, Jimmy B. Caudill, and TJ Smith will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 12Noon, until service time, Sunday at the funeral home.
