Bobby Dale Cheek

Bobby Dale Cheek, age 49, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Friday, August 21, 1970 in Danville, he was the son of Sandra Hornsby Cheek of Stanford and the late James Cheek.  Bobby previously worked for the City of Lexington, in the Sanitation Department.  Bobby attended New Life House of Worship in Crab Orchard, Kentucky.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gaming.

In addition to his mother, Bobby leaves behind one son, Austin Cheek of Stanford; one adopted daughter, Harley Lee and her two children, Taylor Pennington and Austin Lee; two brothers, James Cheek and Louis Cheek of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Mary Warmouth (Edward) and Joyce Padgett (William) both of Stanford; three nephews, Chris Warmouth (Sarah), Cody Warmouth, and Ethan Padgett; several great-nieces and great-nephews, his fiancé, Mary Shepherd of Stanford; Mary’s daughter, Amanda Jenkins (Bill); and his “special little buddies”, Patience, Bella, Emily, and Will. 

In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Toni Alex Cheek, one brother, Billy Cheek; and his “special little buddy”, Gage.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Smith officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Edward Warmouth, Chris Warmouth, Cody Warmouth, Matthew Padgett, Aaron Padgett, and Bill Jenkins will serve as Active Pallbearers.  The Funeral Service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page. 

The Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Thursday at the funeral home.
