Bobby Dean Young

Bobby Dean Young, age 76, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away in Danville, Kentucky, Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Born Wednesday, April 3, 1946, in Kenton County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William and Beulah Harris Young. His loving wife, whom he married on Sunday, August 29, 1971, is Shirley Frederick Young of Stanford. Bobby worked for Victor Gehlhausen building houses. He attended Catholic School in Cincinnati. Bobby loved to tell stories, build things with wood, to fish, and to watch Westerns, Army Military movies. Bobby enjoyed attending flea markets and collecting coins, trains, military memorabilia, and arrowheads.

In addition to his wife, Bobby leaves behind one son, Robert Christopher Young (Tonya) of Stanford; two daughters, Mary Catherine Edwards of Stanford, Candy Lynn Young (Nathan Leese) of Pensacola, Florida; seven grandchildren, Ashley West (Justin), Amanda Duncan, Jeremy Edwards, Kayla Dawn Young, Dakota Young, Mariah Young, and Gunner Hoffard; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Lee Young (Patty) of Gravel Switch, Kentucky; and two sisters, Judy Kelly (Larry)  of Lake Placid, Florida, and Kathy Lynn Smith of Stanford.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Linda Marie Young; one grandchild, Robin Edwards; two great grandchildren; one infant sister, Joan Young; and one infant brother, Billy Young.

A Public Visitation will be held 11-1PM Friday, June 10, 2022, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, June 10, 2022, at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will be honored after the funeral.
