Brenda Sue Perry McFerron

Brenda Sue Perry McFerron, born Saturday, November 26, 1949, in Stanford, Kentucky, passed Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her home in Stanford, after a two-and-a-half year battle with lung cancer. Brenda never met a stranger and was loved by everyone she met. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and do whatever was necessary to help people. She was a strong, independent, fierce woman, who loved with her whole heart.

Brenda had six children, Clinton Ray Perry Junior of Stanford, Kimberly Machelle Gayheart (Arthur) of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Jeffery Wayne Perry (Victoria) of Sugar Tree, Tennessee, Robbie L. Perry (Regina) of Stanford, Wendell Dawn McFerron (Zack Hoskins) of Somerset, Kentucky, and Ernie Randy McFerron of Stanford; 2 step-children, Pamela Renee McFerron Singleton of Stanford and Patti Elaine McFerron Herrington of Stanford; 2 brothers, Ronald Woods (Debbie) of Indiana and Robert (Bobby) Woods of Indiana; 12 grandchildren, Wayne, Adam, Trivia, Brandon, Collin, Andrew, Libby, Blaise, Sonny, Coltin, Cadence, Caleb; 3 great grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren, Misty, Mellissa, Matt, Wesley, Tanner, Kaylee and Cotton; 9 step-great-grandchildren; and one special step-sister, Dema Terry.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Wendell (Wink) McFerron; her granddaughter, Breanna Mae Perry; sister, Connie Mae Woods (infant); and a step-brother, Jerry Boyd.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-9PM Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, July 1, 2022, at the funeral home.  Bro. Jason Coulter & Bro. Greg Humpert will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Brenda’s memorial page at www.friendfuneralhomes.com.

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Collin Brown, Christian Blaise Brown, Robert Andrew Perry, Adam Culbertson, Wayne Roscoe Perry, Brandon Jeffery Perry, Coltin Jay King, and Caleb King will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Trivia Sue Hebrock, Libby Ann Nicole McFerron, Cadence McFerron, Sonny Mae Perry, and Michael Douglas will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
