Catisha Patterson Ascencio

Catisha Patterson Ascencio, age 33, of McKinney, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford, Kentucky. Born Friday, December 5, 1986, in Stanford, Kentucky, she was the daughter to Teresa Atkins of McKinney, and the late Michael Paul “Bat Mite” Patterson.  Catisha loved drawing and writing poetry.

In addition to her mother, Catisha leaves behind one son, Jayden Ascencio of McKinney; one daughter, Emily Ascencio of McKinney; paternal grandmother, Karen Austin Patterson of Stanford; maternal grandparents, Connie Bastin (Larry) of McKinney, and Gary Atkins (Jane Brock) of Stanford; two uncles, Gary Atkins, Jr. (Alisha) of McKinney and Michael Atkins (Jennifer Pike) of Junction City, Kentucky; and a special niece, Breanna Atkins.

In addition to her father, Catisha was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Bobby Patterson; and one aunt, Paulette Gilpin.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Monday, September 28, 2020 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Brown will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Jayden Ascencio, Larry Bastin, Al Murphy, Charles Hale, Scott Denson, and Richard Adams will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Fox & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page at 1:00PM Monday.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Monday, September, 28, 2020 at the funeral home.
