Clarence Edward Hartness

Clarence Edward Hartness, age 56, of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Wednesday, September 16, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late David & Opal Shephard Hartness.  His loving wife, whom he married Saturday, April 15, 2000, is Phyllis Ann Burton Hartness.  Clarence was a construction worker and enjoyed remodeling houses. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching movies. 

In addition to his wife, Clarence leaves behind two sons, Billy Hartness of Hamilton, Ohio, and Eric Hartness of McKinney, Kentucky; four daughters, Tara Hartness Barger and Patty Hartness of the Geneva Community in Lincoln County, Kentucky, Christina Hartness of Mays Lick, Kentucky, and Betty Hartness of Lancaster, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Earl Hartness of Brown County, Ohio, Lee Hartness of Hamilton, Ohio, Eugene Hartness of Stanford, Kentucky, Ronald Hartness of Hamilton, and Ricky Lloyd Hartness of Cincinnati; two sisters, Lena Elmore of Liberty, Kentucky, and Shirley Bedwell of Harlan, Kentucky; and several extended family members and friends who mourn his passing. 

In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Hartness and David Hartness. 

A Private Viewing was held Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.  Cremation Rites honored.
