Darryle Lynn Padgett

Darryle Lynn Padgett, age 53, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 28, 2020. He was born on November 9, 1966 in Stanford, Kentucky to Leamond and Carolyn (Godby) Padgett. He was a 1985 graduate of Lincoln County High School. He was a manager of O’Reilly Auto Parts in Savannah, Georgia and in Danville, Kentucky. Darryle enjoyed fishing, old cars, Kentucky basketball and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, he is survived by wife, Patricia (Dunn) Padgett; two step daughters, Jenna (Dwayne) Payton and Cheyenne Dunn: one step son, Joshua Berry; two step grandchildren; one sister, Yolanda (Greg) Smith; one brother, Raymond Padgett; two nieces, Chasity (Zach) Asberry and Hannah (Corey) Dennis; one nephew, Austin (Haley) Smith; five great nephews; and Grandmother, Juanita Godby.

Darryle was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane (Sergent) Padgett; maternal grandfather, Robert Godby; paternal grandparents, Alva and Versie Padgett.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00PM Saturday, June 6, 2020, at The Gathering Place Church, 90 Fairground Road, Stanford, Kentucky 40484. Bro. John Edwards will be officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Lincoln County High School Class of 1985.
