David Lynn Dennis

David Lynn Dennis, age 71, of Stanford, Kentucky, formerly of McKinney, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  Born Thursday, November 18, 1954, in Stanford, he was the son of the late Bennie Ray & Martha Ellen Lucas Dennis.  David was a 1972 graduate of McKinney High School and previously worked as a delivery driver for Gaines Furniture in Stanford and was an assistant janitor for the Lincoln County Public School system.  David was an active member of South Fork Baptist Church and was a talented bass guitar player.  David never met a stranger and always treated everyone with the upmost love and respect.

David leaves behind his “brother”, Chris Crowley (Bill) of Cincinnati, Ohio; several cousins; special friends, David & Linda Lewis of McKinney; and numerous friends who mourn his passing.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. 

A Public Funeral Service will be held 11AM Monday, June 1, 2026, at the funeral home.  Bro. Kevin Jones will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on David’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  David Lewis, Kent Ellis, Teddy Grigsby, Jimmy Douglas, James Atkins, and Joe Berry will serve as Active Pallbearers.
