Elwood Jackson Campbell

Elwood Jackson Campbell, age 68, of McKinney, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Tuesday, September 8, 1953, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Virgil Melvin & Bonnie Christine Hodge Campbell.  Elwood was a general laborer and was of the Holiness faith.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting Ginseng, other various types of hunting, and fishing. 

Elwood leaves behind two brothers, Virgil David Campbell and Gary Dean Campbell both of McKinney; four sisters, Ethel Marie Coffman (James) and Mary Catherine Elliott both of McKinney, and Dollie Ann Brown and Shirley Rose Campbell both of Hustonville, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Sammy Campbell and Dewayne Campbell; and one sister, Lona Mae Coleman.

A Public Visitation will be held 1-3PM Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will begin at 3:00PM Sunday at the funeral home.  Bro. Mike Yocum will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Harvey Benjamin, Henry Benedict, Mike Benedict, Willard Dean Elliott, Henry Keith, and Henry Keith, Jr. will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Elwood’s brothers and sisters will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
