Eola Whitaker Caudill, age 91, of Havana, Florida, formerly of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. Born Monday, January 6, 1930, in Jeremiah, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Mattie Caudill Whitaker. Her loving husband was Murl F. Caudill, whom she married September 17, 1948, and preceded her in death on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Eola was a member of Crab Orchard Old Regular Baptist. She was a loving wife and mother. Eola was a wonderful cook and blessed others her entire life through the ministry of hospitality. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, being a godly woman and a beacon of light in this world.
Eola leaves behind three sons, Bradley Caudill and his wife Janet, Versailles, Kentucky, Mike Caudill and his wife Terri, Kannapolis, North Carolina and Marcus Caudill and his wife Patricia, Louisville, Kentucky; one daughter, Stephanie Caudill Willis and her husband Bobby, Havana Florida; ten grandchildren, Chris Caudill, Thomas Caudill, Deshawnia Watts, Heather Willis- Doxsee, Holly Willis, Ben Willis, Marcus Morgan, Amber Blanton, Marcie Caudill and Savannah Caudill and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eola was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence Whitaker, Arnold Whitaker, Billy Whitaker, Shelby Whitaker, and Dean Whitaker; two sisters, Kathy Bridges, and Ila Adams; and one grandchild, Zane Caudill.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Robbie Osbourne, Ralph Cloud and Raymond Cloud officiating the service. Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery. Chris Caudill, Thomas Caudill, Bobby Willis, and Billy Caudill will serve as Active Pallbearers.
The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page beginning at 11:00AM.
The Visitation will be held 9-11AM Saturday at the funeral home.
