Eugene Carrier, age 94, of the Highland community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Stanford Care & Rehabilitation in Stanford, Kentucky. Born Tuesday, March 1, 1927, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Logan & Della Bastin Carrier. Eugene was the widower of the late Lois Daugherty Carrier and the late Dessie Marie Rowe Carrier. Eugene was a farmer and member of Stanford Church of Christ.
Eugene leaves behind two daughters, Donna Blough (Dennis) of Alto, Michigan, and Sandra Hubbard (Lanny) of Stanford; two grandchildren, Michael Hubbard (Sandra McGuffey) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, and Denny Blough (Angie) of Michigan; three great-grandchildren, Kyle Blough, Brandon Blough, and Jordan Blough; and one sister, Evelyn Kreitzer of Arkansas.
In addition to his two wives and parents, Eugene was preceded in death by one grandson, Duane Robert Hubbard; four brothers, Edgar Carrier, Elda Carrier, Elmer Carrier, and Ethridge Carrier; and one sister, Edith Young.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday at the funeral home. Louie Hammons & Shelby Roy Hopkins will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Fox & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Denny Blough, Michael Hubbard, Barry Carrier, Jimmy Kersey, Richard Griffin, and Zack Kersey will serve as Active Pallbearers. In memory of the late Robbie Hubbard, special friends of Stanford Church of Christ, and Adam Carrier will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
