Freddie Lewis "Jack" Byrd Obituary

Freddie “Jack” Byrd, 63, of Danville, KY passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022.  Born Friday, January 16, 1959, in Danville, KY to the late T. Joe and Ella Mae Gibbons Byrd.  Jack was a retired employee of Boyle Block Inc., and enjoyed working horses, fishing, and dancing.

Survivors include his five children, Valarie Orcutt of Harrodsburg, KY, Anna Devine of Stanford, KY, Sylvia Byrd (Shawn Harris) of Russell Springs, KY, Brandon Byrd (Carlene), and Willie Joe Byrd (Brandon Ellis) both of Danville, KY; three brothers, Jerry Byrd of New Castle, IN, Tom Byrd (Beverly) of Junction City, KY, and Calvin Byrd of Junction City, KY; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded by his wife, Lucinda “Cindy” Marie Stuck Byrd; one brother, Billy Byrd; and two sisters, Louise Reed and Eva Allen.

Funeral services and burial in Junction City Cemetery will be private.
