Glenn G. Kidd

Glenn G. Kidd, age 67, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  Born Sunday, November 14, 1954, in Waynesburg, he was the son of the late Glenn Ivan & Carrie Oaks Kidd.  Glenn was a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church.  Glenn was a hard-working farmer and “jack of all trades”.  Glenn loved his grandchildren and enjoyed fabricating, engine building, and gardening. 

Glenn leaves behind two sons, Kenneth Lee Kidd (Bonnie) of Stanford, Kentucky, and Greg Clarence Kidd (Patty) of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, Ivy Kidd (Tyler Wade), Keri Brock (Hunter), Kenny Kidd, Mason Moreland, Nathaniel Riddle, Sean Waterman (Gabrielle), and Gretchen Garwood; two great-grandchildren, Xander Brock and Liam Waterman; one nephew, Johnny Mardis (Natasha); and several friends who mourn his passing. 

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Mardis; one nephew, Michael Mardis; and a special friend, Elenora Mitchell.

Public Visitations will be held 5-8PM Friday, April 1, 2022, and 11AM-1PM Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. 

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Bro. Dan Gutenson will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Glenn’s Memorial Page at www.friendfuneralhomes.com.

Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
