James F. Kidd

James F. Kidd, age 63, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Friday, January 2, 1959, in Elkhart, Indiana, he was the son of the late Joseph James & Norma Jean Carpenter Kidd.  James previously worked as an iron worker, logger, farmer, and most recently worked at Bailey Machinery. 

James leaves behind his wife, Vickie S. Kidd of Waynesburg; one son, Timothy Kidd of Waynesburg; one daughter, Jessica Adams (Jonathon) of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Jadyn Kidd, Devon Padgett, Shay Kidd, Chloee Adams, and Emmett Adams; and one sister, Dottie Mobley (James) of McKinney, Kentucky. 

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one brother, Stevie Kidd. 

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. 

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.  Bro. Wayne Stephens will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page.

Burial will follow in Pond Cemetery.
