Jimmy Perkins

Jimmy Perkins, age 70, of Ed Padgett Road in Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home.  Born Tuesday, November 29, 1949 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clarence & Maxine Delk Perkins.  His loving wife of 50 years, whom he married Saturday, March 14, 1970, is Donna Padgett Perkins of Waynesburg.  Jimmy previously owned Perkins Lawn Care and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.  Jimmy enjoyed being with his family and friends, being outdoors, landscaping, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Jimmy leaves behind one son, Jeremiah Perkins (Rozy) of Waynesburg; one daughter, Melanie Hutti (Matt) of Stanford, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Alex Hutti, Conner Hutti, and Jaxon Perkins; one brother, Larry Perkins (Sandy) of Hustonville, Kentucky; three sisters, Dianne Roberts (Wayne) of Hustonville, Vicky Miracle of Stanford, and Kim Caudill (Roger) of Hustonville; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.  Lewis Goode, Richie Sims, Darrin Padgett, Norman Calfee, Charlie Lewis, and “Little” Hank Smith will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Jimmy’s nieces and nephews, and previous employees of Perkins Lawn Care will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Visitations will be held 4-8PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 and 12PM-2PM Sunday at the funeral home.
