Lucille Davis Pelkonen

Lucille Davis Pelkonen, age 90, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Thursday, May 22, 1930 in Anderson County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Vinnie Siers Robinson. Lucille leaves behind her loving husband, Walter Pelkonen, whom she married Saturday, November 2, 1996. Lucille was a member of Stanford Baptist Church. She loved her flower garden and enjoyed quilting.

In addition to her husband, Lucille leaves behind two sons, Charles Phillips (Donna) of Stanford and Leonard Phillips, Jr. (Mellie) of Georgetown, Kentucky; one step daughter, Jennifer Denson of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Mark Phillips, Jesse McFarland, Eric McFarland; one great grandchild, Miles Phillips; and two sisters, Lydia Robinson and Virginia Robinson, both of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Phillips, Sr.; two daughters, Margaret McFarland and Ann Darlene Johnson; one grandson, Mike Phillips; and one sister, Elizabeth Robinson.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. Bro. Kerry Jones will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the funeral home.
