Michael Davis Benedict

Michael Davis Benedict, 58, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 25, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mike was a retired Journeyman/Lineman for the L.E. Myers Company in Indianapolis, Indiana after 40 years of service. Member of the IBEW Local 369, Louisville, Kentucky. He loved classic vehicles, hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy came from spending time with family, friends, and his horses.  

Preceded in death by his Father: Melvin Lee Benedict; Granddaughter: Natasha Benedict and “Great Granny”: Mary Terry.

Survived by his Wife of 24 years: Tina (Woofter) Benedict; Mother: Drucilla (Long) Benedict; Children: Michael Lee Benedict, Jeffrey Benedict, April Benedict, Whitney Benedict, Sydney Benedict and Lexi Benedict. Siblings: Shelly (Bobby) King and Kimberly Sue (Clem) Mason. 10 Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4 – 6 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH.

A Second Public Visitation will be held 10AM-12PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, 545 KY Hwy 328 West, Waynesburg, KY 40489.

A Public Graveside Service will follow at 12:30PM Saturday at Mt. Moriah Christian Church Cemetery in the Highland Community of Lincoln County, Kentucky.  Steve Maggard will officiate the service.  Burial will follow the service.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face coverings are required, by all in attendance; and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
