Rodney Lee Combs

Rodney Lee Combs, age 60, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky. Born Saturday, November 19, 1960, in Ohio, he was the son of the late Shannon and Bobbie Jean McKinney Combs. Rodney leaves behind his loving wife, Candi Young Combs of Science Hill, whom he married June 27, 2015. He was a member at Polly Ann Baptist Church. Rodney worked as an Industrial Electrician, he enjoyed fixing things and helping people. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Rodney was a man of Christ.

In addition to his wife, Rodney leaves behind one son, Casey Combs (Paige) of Eubank, Kentucky; two daughters, Madison Vaughn (Joseph) of Eubank and Faith Ruby (Austin) of Science Hill; 5 grandchildren, Sophie Combs, Bentley Wethington, Rhett Combs, Madelyn Vaughn, and Eleanor Vaughn; and two brothers, Gregory Ray Combs (Sarah), and Timothy Dale Combs (Sandra) both of Eubank.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Holt officiating the service. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery. Joseph Vaughn, Austin Ruby, Tim Combs, Greg Combs, Chris Combs, and Joey Combs will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the funeral home.
