Stephen Dale Derry

Stephen Dale Derry, age 78, of Lincoln County, Kentucky, formerly of Southern California, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at his home.  Born Monday, May 1, 1944, in Compton, California, he was the son of the late Dale & Joan McKinney Derry.  His loving wife, whom he married Wednesday, February 14, 1996, is Diana Norrell Derry. Stephen previously owned a die injection business.  He will be remembered as being a loving husband and father.  After moving to Kentucky, three years ago, he enjoyed mowing his lawn. 

In addition to his wife, Stephen leaves behind one daughter, Lori Swift of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Danielle Fluharty (Oreo Arriero) and Chanta Swift (Ivan Arriero) both of Southern California, and Tyrus Swift (Haley) of Dallas; three great-grandchildren, Payton Arriero, Benjamin Arriero, and Maverick Arriero; two sisters, Debbie Snelling and Jalene Ellwood; two nephews, Jeff Ellwood and Jason Snelling; two nieces, Julie Calleja and Jolene Snelling; one great-nephew, Kale Calleja; one great-niece, Eden Calleja; and special friends, Michael & Tiarra McCormack of Danville, Kentucky.

Cremation Rites have been honored.  No services are planned.
