Wanda K. Robbins Miracle, age 83, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born Monday, October 3, 1938, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Buford & Mary Ida Thompson Robbins. Wanda was the widow of the late Glenn Dale Miracle, whom she married Saturday, July 18, 1953, and preceded her in death Saturday, July 4, 1992. Wanda worked at American Greetings for 32 years. She will be remembered for being a sweet, sarcastic person, who she passed on to her other family members. Wanda deeply loved her family. She was a member of Green River Homemakers and was an avid collector of many things.
Wanda leaves behind one daughter, Bonnie Shoemaker (Homer) of Stanford; one son-in-law, Randy Southerland of Hustonville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Chris Southerland (Becca) of Waco, Kentucky, Mitchell Miracle (Nichole) of Stanford, Beth Byrd (Joe) of Lancaster, Kentucky, and Katie Shoemaker of Stanford; seven great-grandchildren, Draven Miracle, Zayli Miracle, Amaliah Miracle, Kennedy Miracle, Zoey Southerland, Gage Southerland, and Lily Byrd; six brothers, Earl Robbins of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Carl Edward Robbins of Stanford, David A. Robbins of Stanford, Mike D. Robbins of Stanford, Marty Robbins of Lancaster, and Johnny W. Robbins of Danville, Kentucky; five sisters, Ethel Louise Miracle, Mary Jo Peyton, Tammy Henry of McKinney, Kentucky, Vicky Smith of McKinney, and Teffnie Wray of Stanford; and extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly G. Southerland; three brothers, Buford “Junior” Robbins, Rodney Robbins, and Chuck Robbins.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Monday, February 7, 2022, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
The Public Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Bro. Gerald Sims will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Robbins Cemetery. Mitchell Miracle, Chris Southerland, Joe Byrd, Timmy Robbins, Paul Bland, and Clinton Miracle will serve as Active Pallbearers. Wanda’s Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
