Daniel Ray “Dan” Bolin, age 48, of Goshen Road in Stanford, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 in Lancaster.  Born Wednesday, August 21, 1968 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Thomas Ray & Carolyn Jean Cox Bolin.  Dan worked as a farmhand, loved fishing, and was a sports fanatic, his favorite teams being UK Basketball and Football, Dallas Cowboys, and NASCAR Racing-Tony Stewart. 

Dan leaves behind two sisters, Pam McMullen and Tammy Bolin both of Stanford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Yocum.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Donald Clemons, Brandon McMullen, Quince Hicks, Houston Clark, Les Bailey, and Chris Lamb will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Gordon DeShon, Billy Moberly, Jimmy Boyd, Jacob Satterly, Roger Simpson, and Jeffrey Jones will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 11AM, until service time, Wednesday at the funeral home.
