Edwin "Edd" Caldwell

Edwin “Edd” Caldwell, age 54, of Stanford, KY, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at his home following a brief illness.  Born Wednesday, July 24, 1962 in Danville, he was the son of Greta Caldwell Hubble of Waynesburg and the late Marston Merrell Caldwell.  Edd was a livestock dealer (owning Edd Caldwell Livestock), a truck driver, and friend to all who knew him.  He enjoyed watching UK Basketball, NASCAR racing, spending time with his grandchildren, and loved his dog, R.J.

In addition to his mother, Edd is survived by his wife, Lisa Caldwell of Stanford; two daughters, Hilary Bramble (Will) and Julie “Ray” Caldwell both of Stanford; one son, Jeremy Caldwell of Danville; step-father, Leonard Hubble of Waynesburg; three sisters, Beverly Caldwell Burton (Phil), Jennifer Hubble, and Earla Smith (Roy) all of Stanford; one brother, Bill Hubble (Miranda) of Stanford; a special friend, Sarah Evans of Stanford; five grandsons and one granddaughter, Jackson Hogue, Zack McElfresh, Cheyenne Caldwell, Cash “Red” Bramble, Colt Bramble, and Kain Caldwell; mother of Hilary and Julie, Paula Caldwell of Stanford; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. 

In addition to his father, Edd was preceded in death by one daughter, Christie Caldwell; one infant sister, Patsy Caldwell; paternal grandparents, A.K. & Julia Caldwell; and maternal grandparents, Clarence & Etta Leach. 

A Visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday, August 8, 2016 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home in Stanford.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.  Steve Caldwell, Chad Caldwell, Phil Burton, Will Bramble, Eugene Shearer, Dan Burton, Nathan Burton, and Tony Estes will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Edd’s grandchildren, R.J. Burkhart, Dickie Cooper, Bruce Edgington, Mike Caldwell, and Tim Folger will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
